A schoolboy injured after a balcony collapse was sent to Moscow for treatment.

The victim of the collapse of the balcony of the Sevastopol school was sent for treatment to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow. This was announced on May 22 by the governor of the region Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"A young man injured in the collapse of a balcony at school No. 13 was sent to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow for treatment today," a message on the Maks messenger said.

It is specified that the teenager is being transported in a reanimobile, since it is impossible to use air ambulance due to the nature of the injuries.

The collapse of the balcony in the educational institution occurred on May 20. At the time of the tragedy, a graduate photo shoot was taking place there. Izvestia published footage from the scene of the incident, which injured 10 children. The Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea later opened criminal cases on violations of safety rules during construction and negligence of officials.

Razvozhaev reported on May 21 that the condition of one graduate who was injured in the balcony collapse is extremely serious. After the operation, he remains in intensive care, conscious, under the supervision of doctors. One of the injured students is also in serious condition. Six more children suffered moderate injuries, and their condition is stable.
