FC Al-Nasr beat Damak and became the champion of Saudi Arabia
Al-Nasr beat Damak 4-1 in the home match of the final, 34th round of the Saudi Arabian Football Championship and secured victory in the tournament. The meeting took place on May 21.
Sadio Mane scored goals in the 34th minute, Kingsley Coman in the 52nd minute and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo scored doubles in the 63rd and 81st minutes. Morlay Sylla scored the only goal for the losers from the penalty spot in the 58th minute.
At the end of the tournament, Al-Nasr scored 86 points. The second place was taken by Al-Hilal with 84 points, which beat Al-Fahy 1-0 in the last away match.
For five-time winner of the Golden Ball Cristiano Ronaldo, this title was the first in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese forward is in his fourth season with Al-Nasr. Previously, the footballer became a champion in the English Manchester United, Spanish Real Madrid and Italian Juventus.
