A criminal case has been opened in the Tula region over the disappearance of a three-year-old girl. This was reported on May 21 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

"According to preliminary data, on May 20, 2026, the child disappeared in the Dubna work settlement," the agency said in a publication on the Maks messenger.

An operational investigation team is at the scene. Together with law enforcement officers, rescuers and volunteers, they carry out search operations. In parallel, a set of investigative measures is being carried out to clarify all the details of the missing child. The investigation is under the personal supervision of the head of the investigative department, Vladimir Usov.
