The wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell on a 24-storey building under construction in the Pervomaisky district of Rostov-on-Don. This was announced on May 20 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"As a result of the fall of aircraft-type UAV debris in Pervomaisky district, the upper floors of a 24—storey apartment building, which has not yet been put into operation, were damaged," he wrote on his channel in Maks.

Slyusar also said that there was no fire, and information about the victims is being clarified. There are no fatalities. He noted that special services officers are working at the scene.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 94 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of Russia in five hours. It is specified that enemy drones were shot down over the Pskov, Ryazan, Tver, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Novgorod, Smolensk, Tula regions.
