On May 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled one of the Russian sayings during his conversation with Chinese citizen Peng Pai, with whom he was photographed in 2000 while visiting Beijing's Beihai Park.

The Russian leader's interlocutor told him about his future life. So, he stated that after studying under the master's degree program in Moscow, he returned to his homeland.

"Yes, we say: where you were born, you came in handy there. This is very significant," Putin said.
