Rutte announced the Ukrainian origin of the drone shot down over Estonia

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte admitted on May 20 that the drone shot down in the sky over Estonia belongs to Ukraine.

"Yesterday, NATO intercepted a drone over Estonia. It was a Ukrainian drone," Rutte said during a press conference, a recording of which is available on the alliance's website.

A drone was shot down over Estonia the day before. It was noted that the drone probably belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but lost its intended target — from Russia.

The support of the Kiev regime led to unpleasant consequences.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgy Tikhy, immediately apologized for the Ukrainian drones flying over Estonia. The diplomat called them "unintended incidents."

At the same time, the head of the Estonian Ministry of Defense, Hanno Pevkur, called on Kiev on May 10 to keep its UAVs away from the republic. In turn, on May 20, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh called on Ukraine to define its targets more precisely on May 20.
