The maximum average pension of civil servants in the regions exceeded 66 thousand rubles.

The maximum average pension provision for federal government civil servants in the regions of Russia in April 2026 exceeded 66 thousand rubles. This is evidenced by statistical data, which was reviewed by TASS on May 20.

According to the Social Fund, the highest average pension for civil servants in the country's regions in April was recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Citizens living there are charged an average of 66,533 rubles.

The Magadan region is also among the leaders. According to the department's materials, the average amount of payments to former officials in this region amounted to 60.4 thousand rubles.

At the same time, in Russia as a whole, the average pension for civil servants in April 2026 is at 39.3 thousand rubles.

Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, announced on May 19 that the maximum amount of an insurance pension in 2026 could be almost 74 thousand rubles. According to the expert, in order to achieve this amount, it is necessary to receive the maximum number of pension points annually for many years.
