- The expert recalled the responsibility for refusing to work for two weeks upon dismissal.
An employee may be disciplined and dismissed for absenteeism if he refuses to work out a two-week period at his previous job after being fired. Tatiana Golubeva, senior lecturer at the Department of Business, Labor and Corporate Law at the Presidential Academy, recalled this on May 18.
The expert reminded that an employee does not have the right to make a decision on his own not to work out the prescribed days. According to her, it would be in the employee's best interests to leave the organization without debts and negative characteristics.
"If there is no agreement or agreement with the employer and the employee simply did not come to work because he does not want to work, in this regard, he can be disciplined in the form of dismissal for absenteeism, regardless of whether a letter of resignation was submitted on his own," she told TASS.
