The weather forecaster named the Russian regions with possible abnormal heat in June

Abnormal heat in June may be observed in Moscow and the central part of Russia. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, told Izvestia about this.

The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia has published a seasonal forecast for the summer of 2026, according to which a number of regions of the country expect abnormally high air temperatures in June.

According to the data obtained, weather anomalies will be observed in the vast territory of the country in the first month of summer.

"The background forecast says that both in Moscow and in the central part of Russia, all summer months will be with a positive anomaly in air temperature and with precipitation close to normal," Pozdnyakova explained.

According to the seasonal forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, Murmansk, Vologda, Syktyvkar, Kirov, Arkhangelsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Salekhard, Omsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky fall into the zone of possible anomalies — the weather there will be more than one degree above the climatic norm. At the same time, weather forecasters predict an abnormal decrease in temperature in parts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chukotka and the Magadan region.
