Trump comments on accusations of technology theft between the United States and China

US President Donald Trump, commenting on the accusations against China of stealing American intellectual property, said that the practice of technological espionage is mutual and that the United States uses similar methods against Beijing. He informed his Chinese counterpart about this on May 14 in an interview with Fox News channel.

"She (the CBS reporter) was talking about China, about this and that, that they were stealing this and stealing that, and I said, 'Yes, and we're doing the same to them.' They're spying on us. I said, "And we're spying on them, too," Trump said.
