The main battles in the Slavyansk direction are taking place on the distant approaches to the settlement. Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), told about this on May 14.
"With regard to this [Slavic] direction, here we see that the main fighting [is], after all, on the distant approaches to the settlement of Slavyansk," he said in an interview with TASS.
