Residents of Zheleznovodsk and Nevinnomyssk were left without water due to a water pipeline accident.

Residents of two cities of the Stavropol Territory — Nevinnomyssk and Zheleznovodsk — were left without water supply due to an accident at the Kuban main water pipeline. This was announced on May 14 by the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov.

"An accident occurred this evening on the section of the Kuban water pipeline that feeds Zheleznovodsk. The system is currently being emptied so that repairs can begin," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of Nevinnomyssk, Mikhail Minenkov, also said that the water supply was suspended throughout the city. He called the power supply to the filtration stations the reason for the incident.
