Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova, who decided to leave her post after 10 years of work, has done a lot to develop the institution of the Ombudsman in Russia. This was announced on May 14 by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, thanking her for her work.

"Tatiana Nikolaevna Moskalkova has been heading this important human rights institution for 10 years. And we thank her, and much has been done to ensure that this person is at the top of the institute's agenda," he said.
