Five regions of the Ural Federal District are at risk of contracting tick-borne viral encephalitis. This was announced on Wednesday, May 13, according to the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

As explained in the department, we are talking about the Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk regions and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

The most effective way to prevent the disease is vaccination. Vaccinations should be given to both local residents and those who plan to visit dangerous regions.
