A baby carriage in St. Petersburg was blown into the water due to a helicopter landing

In St. Petersburg, a baby carriage flew into the Kronverk Strait due to a strong gust of wind from a helicopter landing, there were no casualties. The incident was reported on May 10 by the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"During the landing of the Mi-8 helicopter, which caused a strong airflow from the movement of the blades, the baby carriage was blown away <...> from Zayachy Island. <...> As a result of the incident, no one was injured," the department's Telegram channel says.

The investigative authorities have begun conducting an inspection. It is specified that the emergency occurred the day before, on Victory Day.

On April 8, children who were trapped due to adverse weather conditions were evacuated by helicopter in the mountains of Dagestan. Rescuers took three children to their grandmother. Rescuers also evacuated a man with a broken leg, he was taken to a medical facility.
