FT reported on Germany's attempts to resume purchases of Tomahawk missiles

Germany is trying to resume attempts to purchase long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles from the United States. This was reported on May 10 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper, citing sources.

"Berlin is resuming attempts to acquire American Tomahawk cruise missiles," the article says.

The publication notes that the German government hopes to convince the administration of US President Donald Trump to agree to the sale of Tomahawk missiles along with Typhon launchers.

According to the newspaper, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is planning a visit to Washington to propose to the White House to resume the sale of long-range missile systems to Germany. Sources of the publication note that the trip depends on the possibility of meeting with the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth.
