In the south-east of Moscow, a child fell out of a window, fleeing from a fire in an apartment. This was announced on May 7 by a source of Izvestia.
The incident occurred on Stepan Shutov Street. According to the source, the fire started in the kitchen of the apartment, where two children were at that moment. The fire was promptly extinguished, the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in Moscow later clarified.
"The fire was extinguished before the arrival of fire and rescue units. Two children left the apartment before the arrival of the fire and rescue units," the agency said.
As a result of the incident, a child born in 2021 was injured, the Izvestia source added. He was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury and abrasions. The victim was hospitalized.
A four-year-old child, leaning on a mosquito net, fell from the second floor of a house in the center of Moscow on May 6. The boy was hospitalized. It was clarified that the mother was in another room at the time of the incident.
