Five new memorial plaques will be installed in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the Maks messenger.

Three plaques will perpetuate the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, Sobyanin said. They will appear on the houses where Captain 1st Rank Sergey Reshetov (Ninth Company Street, 2k2), military intelligence Lado Davydov (Cosmonauts Street, 12) and Colonel-General of Aviation Vasily Reshetnikov (Bolshoy Afanasyevsky Lane, 25) lived.

Another memorial plaque will be erected in honor of Aviation Lieutenant General Sergei Denisov (Vspolny Lane, 16s2), the mayor said. Denisov was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his exemplary performance of special assignments during the Spanish Civil War and the Soviet-Finnish War.

The fifth plaque will perpetuate the memory of Colonel-General Valery Vostrotin (Sadovnicheskaya Street, 25), Sobyanin noted. He received the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his courage and heroism during the Afghan War.
