The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has begun confiscating the property of Iranian citizens living in the country. This was announced on April 29 by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in its Telegram channel.

"The government of the Emirates, which provided its territories and air borders during the "third imposed war", supporting the United States and the Zionist regime, continues its hostile actions and has begun to confiscate the property of Iranian citizens residing in the Emirates," the publication says.

The statement notes that there are reports of the detention in the UAE of a group of Iranian citizens who were subsequently sent to prisons in the middle of the desert with difficult conditions.

As stated in the message, there was no response from the government or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aimed at investigating and reviewing the situation. It is clarified that the concern of the citizens of the Islamic Republic abroad is growing, as well as the tension between the two countries.

The Axios portal, citing sources, reported on April 26 that Israel sent the Iron Dome missile defense system to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East. It is noted that this case was the first in the history of the deployment of this type of air defense systems outside the United States and Israel.

The WSJ newspaper reported on April 20 that the UAE had begun negotiations with the United States to receive financial support in the event of a war with Iran. It was noted that the country fears that the conflict will damage the economy, scare off investors and deplete foreign exchange reserves, as well as disrupt oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz.
