"Island of Dreams" presented the program by May 9th

For Victory Day, the Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster has prepared a special program filled with meaning and respect for memory, which unites generations.

For the second year in a row, the Island of Dreams has become one of the key venues for the celebration of May 9 in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow. This year's program is based on the idea of the unity of nations, thanks to which a Great Victory was achieved. This is a story about people of different nationalities who, in difficult times, were united by courage, perseverance and a common goal — to protect their Homeland.

The program will take place in the southern landscape Park from 14:00 to 19:00. The central event will be the concert "Common Feat — Common Victory" on the main stage. The program includes songs from the war years, national dances and musical compositions reflecting the cultural diversity of the peoples who contributed to the Victory. At the end of the concert program, the large combined choir of the collectives of the Southern Administrative District Cultural Center will perform the legendary song "Victory Day" to the accompaniment of the Youth Orchestra of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. The artistic director of the orchestra is People's Artist of Russia, Major General Viktor Eliseev, conducted by Honorary Worker of Culture of Moscow Mikhail Golovin.

The Voices of Memory program will be held on the small stage — chamber readings of the works of front-line writers, literary and musical compositions and performances by readers. Through the living word, guests will be able to feel the personal stories behind the pages of history.

Themed spaces will be open for guests, revealing different aspects of life during the war years: "Unity that won the war", "Home front. Forge of Victory" and many others. There will also be workshops and interactive formats. The atmosphere will be complemented by a dance floor with music from the front years and a field kitchen.

The program combines concert, educational and family formats, creating a space where you can spend this day with your loved ones, recall important pages of history and feel a sense of community.
