Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on April 21 that the blockade of Iranian ports was a violation of the ceasefire.
"The blockade of Iranian ports is an act of war and, consequently, a violation of the ceasefire," the message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to Araqchi, attacking a merchant ship and taking its crew hostage is an even more serious violation.
On April 21, the head of the White House, Donald Trump, extended the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran at the request of Pakistan until the submission of Tehran's proposals and the completion of the negotiation process.
