In the Rostov region, the contact network at Persianovka station was damaged, which led to the delay of 15 trains. This was announced on April 21 by the press service of the North Caucasus Railway (NCRR).

"Today, on April 20, at 21:31, as a result of outside interference at the Persianovka station of the Russian Railways, the contact network was damaged," the publication says.

The Russian Railways clarified that schedule delays of up to three hours affected trains No. 50 St. Petersburg - Kislovodsk, No. 126 Moscow — Novorossiysk, No. 138 Nizhny Novgorod — Kislovodsk, No. 326 Perm — Novorossiysk, No. 28 Moscow — Simferopol, No. 36 St. Petersburg — Adler, No. 84 Moscow — Adler, No.4 Moscow — Kislovodsk, No. 418 Samara — Adler, No. 143 Kislovodsk — Moscow, No. 11 Anapa — Moscow, No. 125 Novorossiysk — Moscow, No. 339 Novorossiysk — Nizhny Novgorod, No. 49 Kislovodsk — Saint Petersburg and No. 249 Novorossiysk — Moscow.

It is specified that emergency crews and a recovery train were sent to the scene. The press service added that passengers are receiving the necessary assistance. According to the Russian Railways, people who are delayed for more than four hours will be provided with bottled water and food.

On March 2, 10 wagons derailed on the Sverdlovsk Railway. At that time, it was reported that a grain wagon derailed and collided with a locomotive of a technical electric train moving along an adjacent track, which caused the latter to also derail. No injuries were identified as a result of the incident. Only the infrastructure and the transport itself were damaged.
