The Ukrainian authorities will complete the repair of the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Hungary and Slovakia receive Russian oil, in the spring, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on April 10.

"We will complete the repairs because it was agreed. I told them (the leaders of Hungary and Slovakia. — ed.) that we will finish this spring," Zelensky said.

The representative of the European Commission, Anna-Kaisa Itkonen, reported on April 7 that the Ukrainian side had still not allowed the mission of European experts who came to the country in March to inspect the pipeline. On March 21, the Euractiv portal indicated that Ukraine's refusal to allow European inspectors to inspect the Druzhba oil pipeline was "not encouraging at all."
