The Kiev regime has almost completely spent the reserve fund of the state budget — since the beginning of the year, only 1% of the funds have remained in it. This was announced on April 8 by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

"As of today, there are from 49.42 billion in the Reserve Fund. There are 0.5 billion hryvnias left ... that is, 1%," Zheleznyak wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that the last funds were spent by the government on the National Cashback program, which was launched in March 2026. The program is aimed at refunding part of the cost of gasoline to citizens in the face of huge fuel price increases in Ukraine after the outbreak of the Middle East crisis, she said. "Газета.ги "

On April 2, Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Razumkov announced that Kiev had approximately two weeks left of monetary resources at its disposal. According to him, the government will be forced to close the gap in the budget due to the additional tax burden. Razumkov stressed that the authorities plan to shift these financial obligations to ordinary citizens.

On April 3, the White House prepared and published a draft of the US federal budget for 2027, which does not provide for the allocation of funds to support Kiev. The 92-page document does not contain the words "Ukraine" and "Kiev" even once. The American administration has not included in the financial plan the costs of helping Kiev either through the supply of weapons and ammunition, or in the format of additional monetary tranches.
