Throwing documents with personal data into the trash without destroying them is unsafe in any case, as it is an easy prey for fraudsters. This was announced on April 5 by Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

"Documents containing passport data, INN, and SNILS must be destroyed without fail, as these data can be used by fraudsters to obtain loans and microloans, as well as to gain access to government services. In general, it is better to destroy such documents through a shredder or in such a way that it would be impossible to recover the information contained in them later," Khaminsky said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
