Russians were reminded of double pay in case of work on May 1st and 9th

Russians are entitled to double pay if they go to work on the holidays of May 1st and 9th. This was recalled on April 4 by Margarita Bogdanova-Shemraeva, Director of the HR Department of the Russian Society Znanie.

"If an employee goes to work on a holiday, he gets double pay or regular pay plus an additional day off. With a shift schedule, May 1 and 9 are always considered holidays and are paid accordingly, even if they fall on shift," she told TASS.
