The Kama company, which is the developer of the Russian Atom electric car, announced plans to introduce innovations in the field of driving automation used in electric vehicles into the model ranges of other automakers from Russia and friendly countries. This is stated in the message of Kama, which was received by Izvestia on April 3.

The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) from Kama has received the "Made in Russia" certificate in the "Reliability" and "Quality" categories. The document was issued by the Russian Export Center (REC, part of the VEB.RF group). The certificate was issued for the second—level automation driver assistance system - it can take control, but the driver remains behind the wheel and watches the road.

Representatives of Kama stated that, as confirmed by the issued conclusion, the Russian product is a high-quality and reliable serial solution. This makes it possible to use all the tools of the REC for promotion abroad.

"Today we see a demand for high-tech solutions from Russia from automakers from Asia, the Middle East and the EAEU countries. Having this certificate will significantly shorten the path to concluding export contracts, removing questions about the quality and reliability of the product," said Roman Shvedov, head of the Security and Strategic Communications Department at Atom.
