- Iran announced its readiness to re-strike the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Middle East
Iran is ready to re-strike the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which are moving in the Middle East. This was stated on March 31 by Salar Velyatmedar, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament.
"Ukrainian drone specialists and several UAVs have been deployed to the region. Our relevant services closely monitored the situation and received the necessary information about their location in Dubai, where we struck. We continue to monitor such movements, and if we receive additional information, necessary measures will be taken," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Velatmedar added that the involvement of Ukrainian drone operators indicates the difficult situation of the US army in the conflict.
Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, said yesterday that Iran considers Ukraine to be a participant in the aggression of the United States and Israel against Tehran. In his opinion, sending Ukrainian specialists to Arab countries provides support for the ongoing military aggression against Iran. It was noted that such interference is not accidental and indicates Ukraine's direct involvement in the conflict.
On March 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that the United States had allegedly asked Kiev for help in protecting its military bases in the conflict in the Middle East. According to him, expert teams from Kiev are already in some countries of the Persian Gulf and are sharing their experience in combating drones and working with Patriot air defense systems.
