Drozdenko announced the continuation of the ports in the Leningrad region
The ports of the Leningrad Region continue their regular work, shipping petroleum products, gas chemicals and fertilizers to friendly countries, and are ready to increase supplies to Cuba, despite drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 30 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.
"The ports of the Leningrad region continue to operate, shipping petroleum products, gas chemicals, fertilizers to friendly countries. We are ready to increase supplies to the Island of Freedom," Drozdenko said in a post on the MAX messenger.
The governor said that the Leningrad Region is preparing a cooperation agreement with the Cuban province of Ciego de Avila. The details were discussed with Cuba's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Oscar Perez-Oliva Fraga.
He added that at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF) it is planned to sign a memorandum for direct assistance to the republic, and the first batch will be medical supplies for the ambulance service.
Drozdenko added that the Anatoly Kolodkin ship delivered 730,000 barrels of oil from the port of Primorsk to the port of Mariel.
On March 29, Drozdenko reported that the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region had been damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. He added that there were no casualties.
