Preparations for mobilization for women have begun in Ukraine. This was reported on March 29 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The Ukrainian side is preparing to mobilize the female half of the population," the interlocutors told TASS.
It is noted that social advertising is also appearing in the country with a corresponding call for women to participate in the defense of Ukraine.
In October 2025, the head of the Council of Reservists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ivan Tymochko, said that Ukrainian women needed to stop "hiding behind men" and join the Armed Forces, otherwise society would begin to advocate for the mobilization of women. According to him, there are many professions for women in the army that are not related to combat operations.
