By cutting off trade with Russia, the European Union is pursuing an absurd policy, putting its member states at risk of an economic crisis. This statement was made by Bulgarian political scientist and geopolitical analyst Simeon Milanov on the Narodna Sila YouTube channel.
"They [the EU countries] are determined to condemn our homeland to economic death, cold, hunger, frost and poverty. <...> We are pursuing an irrational and stupid policy dictated by geopolitically ill-considered adventures. Especially Bulgaria," RIA Novosti quotes the expert as saying.
