SF tightened the responsibility of heads of price regulation authorities in the regions

The Federation Council has approved a law that imposes strict liability on officials of regional tariff regulatory authorities. Now, for repeated failure to comply with the instructions of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), officials face uncontested dismissal from office.

If the head of the relevant department in the region ignores the FAS decision to eliminate violations in setting prices several times, the court will be obliged to apply a disqualification for up to three years.
