The British military base in Cyprus has been damaged by an alleged strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was reported on March 2 by the national newspaper Daily Express, citing a representative of the British Ministry of Defense.

"The British military base in Cyprus was subjected to an alleged drone strike, a representative of the Ministry of Defense confirmed early on Monday morning, March 2," the publication says.
