A new polyclinic will open in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in the fall of 2026
In the autumn of 2026, a new polyclinic with 330 visits per shift is planned to be opened in the Khomutovo planning area in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. This is reported by the regional government.
As of February 26, the facility is 65% ready. The contractor carries out the finishing work and installs the power grid.
According to the project, the three-storey building will house many medical offices, including offices for psychological and medical-social assistance to women. A small operating room, day hospital rooms, a gym and a block of rooms for telemedicine will be equipped on the third floor.
According to Irina Tukhvatullina, the head of the Ministry of Health of the island region, after the construction is completed, it will take time to carry out other work — installing furniture and equipment, obtaining a license. Approximately in May, residents will begin receiving notifications about the attachment, and the opening of the institution is scheduled for autumn.
According to SakhalinMedia news agency, the clinic will be designed for both adult patients and children. In total, about 10 thousand people will be attached to it.
