Russian leader Vladimir Putin has formed a commission under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on February 26.

It is noted that the initiative was adopted for the effective formation and implementation of state policy in the field of AI and their implementation in the economy, social sphere and public administration of the country.
