The timing of the installation of cast-iron grilles on the bridge in Lipetsk was postponed

In Lipetsk, the installation of a replica cast-iron fence on the Plekhanovsky Bridge has not yet been completed. It decorated the bridge before the start of major repairs. The contractor had difficulties in manufacturing the parts.

According to GOROD48, referring to the city administration, the specialists encountered problems at the casting stage, since the details are not simple. As a result, a defect arose, and some elements had to be re-manufactured.

Now all the casting elements are completed, you can start painting the parts. It is planned to complete the installation work before March 10.

The installation of a replica of the historic fence on the Plekhanov Bridge began in late January. The work is carried out by Lipetsk Construction Company LLC. 5.6 million rubles were allocated from the city budget for the manufacture and installation of 38 cast iron pillars and 33 sections.

In October, it was reported that Lipetsk had opened traffic on the Studenovsky Bridge, the repair of which began in the summer of 2024. The 36-meter-long three-span structure was practically rebuilt. The reconstruction of the facility cost the regional capital 174.1 million rubles.
