As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the village of Vitemlya in the Bryansk region, a 14-year-old child was injured. This was announced on February 25 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the village of Vitemlya in the Pogarsky district with kamikaze drones. <...> The head of the Vitemlyansky rural settlement, Yevgeny Vladimirovich Veremyev, was near the site of the attack, and despite the danger of a repeat attack, he took the child out and handed him over to an ambulance team," he wrote on the MACH messenger.

It is noted that the boy was taken to the hospital, he received all the necessary medical care. A civilian car was also damaged as a result of the incident. Operational and emergency services are on site.
