Irish journalist Chay Bose said that Western countries should remember Russia's military experience and the price it has paid in past conflicts. He wrote about this on February 23 on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"If any nation knows the sacrifices and horrors of war, it is the Russians. They also know how to fight and how to win. The West should remember this," he said.

Thus, Bose commented on the published video in which Russian President Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin Wall.

Earlier in the Day, Putin laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden in Moscow and observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen soldiers.

On the same day, Putin presented the Gold Star medals to servicemen awarded the title Hero of Russia and the Order of Courage. The award ceremony took place in the Kremlin's Executive Office. In his opening speech at the ceremony, the head of state stressed that Russia is fighting for its future, independence, truth and justice.
