"Pinocchio" will be shown at the Russian Film Festival in Armenia

Art Pictures Distribution will present the film "Pinocchio" in Yerevan — the film will open the festival, which will be held from February 20 to 22.

"Pinocchio" is a modern film adaptation of the famous fairy tale by Alexei Tolstoy, which has become part of the cultural code of many generations. This is an emotional story about being true to yourself, accepting your uniqueness, and the power of unconditional love that can work wonders.

The film was widely distributed in Russia on January 1, 2026 — exactly 50 years after the premiere of the legendary TV movie "The Adventures of Pinocchio" — and collected more than 2.3 billion rubles. Today, the film continues its international promotion, uniting viewers from different countries through the universal values and language of modern cinema.

The film will open the Russian Film Festival in Armenia, organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. As the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova noted, the screenings of Russian films in Yerevan have become a good tradition and an important step towards expanding cultural cooperation and creative interaction between the countries.
