The OP offered to compensate employers for the cost of removal for pregnant women
The state can compensate employers for the equipment of home workplaces for employees who are pregnant or have young children at the expense of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund. On February 19, Sergey Rybalchenko, Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values, proposed such support measures.
"Obviously, remote work will require computerization of jobs for expectant or newly-minted mothers. Moreover, the employer's costs for creating such jobs can be compensated from the budget, from the Pension and Social Insurance Fund," he said in an interview with TASS.
The head of the CC RF commission stressed that in the case of pregnant women and parents of young children, the same mechanism can be used that has already been successfully used in Russia to provide home jobs for people with disabilities.
"Let's say there is no workplace in the company where a person with a disability could come, but the employer creates this place, hires a person, applies to the Pension and Social Insurance Fund. And the fund will compensate him for the costs," suggested Rybalchenko.
In the case of pregnant women and mothers, Rybalchenko noted that the amount of compensation should be based on the child care allowance, the maximum amount of which currently stands at 83 thousand rubles. At the same time, the head of the OP commission stressed that the amount of compensation may vary depending on the region.
Rybalchenko reported on February 17 that pregnant women and mothers with young children should have the right to work remotely or on a flexible schedule. According to the head of the OP commission, such measures can contribute to an increase in the birth rate.
