VTB awards the finalists of the startup competition

The results of the first regional season of the Business Battle startup competition were summed up in Saransk, the VTB press service reported. The final of the project took place on February 18 with the support of VTB, the Government of the Republic of Mordovia and RANEPA.

Ivan Kurbakov became the winner of the main prize in the amount of 1 million rubles, his LaserVision project helps to prevent breakdowns and extend the service life of industrial equipment. Irina Tyabina took the second place with the project "A reason to visit the Russian Federation", a travel guide set with original illustrations. She will receive the opportunity to study for free under the MBA program at IBDA RANHiGS. The prize for the third place — 500 thousand rubles from the head of the Republic of Mordovia was awarded to Lev Krupnov for the project of creating a unique rural tourism space in the region "The Lion and the Bee".

The Business Battle format allows them to create additional opportunities for scaling. Over the years of the competition, more than a thousand aspiring entrepreneurs have received expertise on their projects. The head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, noted that the republic pays great attention to supporting business and creating an entrepreneurial-friendly environment.

"The Business Battle is one of such platforms where the resources of the state, business and education are combined. I am confident that the competition will become an annual event and will take its place on the regional business agenda, helping aspiring entrepreneurs take the first step.
