Video cameras will be installed in the forests of the Stavropol Territory to monitor fires. They will be able to detect fires at a distance of up to 10 km.
According to the StavropolMedia news agency, each system is equipped with a camera, an antenna, a transmitting device and a system unit for information processing. The cameras are connected to the control room wirelessly. When a fire is detected, the system will transmit its exact coordinates.
The equipment will be purchased for Beshtaugorsky, Yessentuki, Ipatovsky, Stavropol and Kirov forestry enterprises.
