Federation Council approves law on direct responsibility of governors for children's recreation

The Federation Council has approved a law on the direct responsibility of governors for summer holidays in the regions. This became known on February 18 from data on the Internet portal of the legislative support system.

The adopted amendments assign the leadership of the relevant commissions to the highest officials of the constituent entities of Russia. They will also include representatives of regional ministries and health departments.

As noted in the explanatory note to the draft law, the changes are aimed at improving the quality of the organization of children's recreation and bringing the work of the commissions in line with the established requirements.
