There has been a massive disruption in the work of YouTube

On February 18, YouTube users experienced massive disruptions to the platform. This is evidenced by data from the DownDetector service.

It is noted that the peak of complaints occurred at 4:00 Moscow time. More than 332 thousand people reported problems. The majority of complaints (56%) are related to application failures. Approximately an equal number of users (17% and 16%) had problems with the website and logging in to the service, respectively.

Most of the problems with YouTube were in such US cities as San Francisco, New York and Washington.

Problems are observed in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and other countries.

About massive failures in the work of the social network X (ex. Twitter) was reported on February 16 by users of the platform. In the USA, more than 42 thousand reports of problems were recorded, in the UK — over 11 thousand. The majority of complaints (67%) are related to the difficulties of loading the site, 22% of users report failures in the application.
