Rinkevich spoke about the high combat capability and experience of the Russian army

On February 16, Latvian President Edgar Rinkevich, in an interview with El Pais, described the Russian troops as very strong and experienced, while noting the effectiveness of the country's military-industrial complex.

"We don't see Moscow being defeated. As the leader of a country bordering Russia, I can say that we must take it very seriously," he stressed.

The President added that the Russian armed forces continue to gain experience and are only getting stronger.

"We see that the Russian army is very strong, that it has gained experience, that its defense industry is working well," Rinkevich summed up.
