The LPR Ombudsman will ask Putin for Russian citizenship for Italian journalist Lorusso

On February 14, Anna Soroka, the Ombudsman of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), announced that she intends to appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to grant Russian citizenship to Italian journalist Vincenzo Lorusso, who works in Donbass.

"I intend to address the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, with a request for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation of a foreign citizen, Vincenzo Lorusso, in an exceptional manner," she wrote on the Telegram channel.

Sorokina expressed confidence that the Russian president would appreciate the contribution of the Italian journalist to the public and information sphere aimed at the benefit of Russia and exposing the actions of the Kiev regime.
