Moscow's Basmanny Court has placed Andrei Faleychik, the former deputy governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, under arrest until April 12 on charges of accepting a $1.88 million bribe, a Izvestia correspondent reported from the courtroom on February 13.

According to the investigation, in the period 2021-2023, as the head of Kopeisk, the official received money from the director of a commercial organization for concluding a long-term lease agreement for the property complex of the Yunost children's health camp.
