The International Olympic Committee (IOC) did not see a negative reaction towards American athletes during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Italy, IOC Communications Director Mark Adams said on February 7.

"From the point of view of the IOC, given that the next Games will be held in Los Angeles, we are very happy that the US administration is so actively involved in the Olympic Games and the Olympic movement," he said.
