On February 6, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his dissatisfaction with the work of the Air Force of the country's armed forces in a number of regions.

"I consider the work of the Air Force in some regions of Ukraine to be unsatisfactory," he said in a Telegram message.

Zelensky added that he had discussed solutions to the current situation with Air Force Commander Anatoly Krivonozhko and Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said a day earlier that Zelensky had asked his government not for MiG-29 fighters, but for other equipment of a different type. The Polish prime minister said he would respond to the request after consulting with the country's military leadership.
