Murmansk region to allocate 200 million rubles for public works

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Murmansk Region received 200 million rubles from the reserve fund of the regional government. The document on the allocation of funds was signed by Governor Andrey Chibis.

The money will be used to provide temporary community service in 2026 as part of the Employment and Labor project.

According to Bi-port news agency, more than 38 million rubles will be provided to Monchegorsk, 25 million rubles to Murmansk, and another 24.5 million rubles to Severomorsk.

The agency must report to the regional Ministry of Finance on the targeted spending of the allocated funds by February 3, 2027.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of the Murmansk region will allocate almost 260 million rubles for the rehabilitation of residents. The money, in particular, will be used for recreation of government employees and their children.
